Day 1 — Welcome to Pescara / No cycling
Arrive in Pescara and settle into your accommodation. Meet us for your bike fitting, route briefing and an introduction to the landscapes, wines and stories that will accompany your journey.
Day 2 — Pescara to San Vito Chietino / Approx. 58 km · 580 m elevation gain
Follow the Adriatic coast from Pescara to Francavilla al Mare before turning inland through the vineyard-covered hills of Tollo. Continue to the historic village of Crecchio, then ride towards Ortona and return to the sea for the final stretch to San Vito Chietino.
Day 3 — San Vito Chietino round trip / Approx. 45 km · 580 m elevation gain
Follow the Costa dei Trabocchi south from San Vito Chietino before turning inland towards Rocca San Giovanni. Ride through the countryside to Lanciano, then return via the painted village of Treglio and quiet vineyard-covered hills.
Day 4 — San Vito Chietino to Casalbordino / Approx. 55 km · 760 m elevation gain
Leave San Vito Chietino and follow the Costa dei Trabocchi south before turning inland towards Pollutri. Ride through rolling hills, vineyards and peaceful countryside, then return to the Adriatic for the final stretch to Casalbordino Lido.
Day 5 — Casalbordino to Vasto / Approx. 50 km · 800 m elevation gain
Ride south along the Costa dei Trabocchi, passing vineyards, quiet coastal roads and the protected landscapes of Punta Aderci. Continue through the rolling countryside before reaching Vasto, a charming hilltop town overlooking the Adriatic.
Day 6 — A Slow Day in Vasto / Optional ride: up to 20 km · approximately 200 m elevation gain
Enjoy a slower day to explore Vasto, relax by the sea or join an optional local experience. It is a day dedicated to the flavours, people and stories discovered along the way.
Day 7 — Departure / No cycling
After breakfast, it is time to say goodbye to Abruzzo. An optional transfer can be arranged back to Pescara, leaving you with the memories—and a small piece—of the region you have travelled through.
